THE BLIND DATE TOUR with JINJA SAFARI, OPOSSOM & WHITE ARROWS
FINALLY!
My ears are loving me right now. This is glorious!
S’if my iPhone managed to capture these killer shots! Good iPhone! Boy & Bear, Forum Theatre, Melbourne, Friday 18 May 2012,
My favourite band in my favourite town (though I have never been to old London town)! Le sigh…wish I can witness these two things in one go.
My God so pretty. Freaking out. LONDON I WILL BE IN YOU NEXT FEB! So flipping excited! (Source: ginagraceknight)

Little Illusion Machine (Wirral Riddler) - Miles Kane and the Death Ramps Possibly the most sexist song I’ve ever heard in my life. And hearing this live….UNF!
JINJA SAFARI PLAYED AT MELBOURNE UNI YESTERDAY!
Sneaky buggers! Why you no say anything?! All I was doing yesterday was trying to figure out what to do on my only day off until next Wednesday and I could have trekked out to Melb Uni for a spot of dancing and chats! Wish my sister still worked at Melb Uni, maybe she would have known. Super, super, super sad x831209382190. :-(

Arcade Fire - Funeral (Signed) This is perhaps the most brilliant, most amazing thing that I’ve ever come across in a record store. Better yet, a tiny record store in Euroa, regional Victoria, practically in the middle of nowhere! First of all, I was so surprised that a store as amazing as this one existed in Euroa, second, the memorabilia the owner had was beyond anything I’ve seen in any inner city record store. The owner pretty much dedicated his life to getting all things music signed by the artist, sought after rare music memorabilia and had an amazing talent for drawing portraits of artists, which he sold as well. My heart literally stopped though, when I came across this CD. It’s a bit damaged, but I couldn’t pass it up! Instead of giving it to me for $25, the owner gave it to me for an even $20. When I took off the sticker later, it was originally selling for $60. When I go back to Euroa one day, I’ve got a feeling that the record store won’t be there anymore. The owner told me himself he didn’t know how much longer he could afford to stay open. To keep things afloat, he actually shared rent with a hairdresser, which was at the back of the store (gosh, so totally old school!). It saddens me a bit that most people don’t appreciate stores like this anymore, appreciate buying physical products as opposed to digital and get a thrill from finding amazing memorabilia of the bands they love. Good luck to you mister record store owner, good luck!
